1.4.2 Reseller relationship

VoipSwitch supports multilayered ownership structure. The basic type accounts constitute the lowest layer. They can only belong to more complex entities such as resellers. The resellers are further divided on three levels connected in one to many relationships where 1^st level can own resellers of the 2^nd level and they can own resellers of the 3^rd level. Only those from the 3^rd level can own client accounts.

For each retail account you can assign a reseller of level 3 using the drop down list when adding account or in the edit view in the General tab. The list of available resellers is managed from the Reseller menu from the top menu bar. The assigned reseller can be replaced by other or removed at any moment.
