5. RCS requirements

To start working on your RCS project we will need the following:

Servers

At least two servers, one with Windows Server and the other with Linux. Please check the details here: 5.5 RCS Servers

Public IP addresses and domain names

The server hosting the EMC API and the windows server with softswitch and web portal (if on the same server) must be publicly available. Each of the servers has to have a public IP address with an FQDN (fully qualified domain name) assigned.

For example:

portal.mydomain.com - for the Voipswitch User Portal (VUP)

sip.mydomain.com  - for the softswitch server

Verification through SMS during Sign Up

At present we support only nexmo.com. We will need the authorization credentials for their API that is a key and secret .

In addition the Callback URL for delivery receipt must be set. More detals on how to do it can be found here: Verification SMS

Email SMTP settings

The systems sends an email to user during Sign UP via email procedure and also for Forget password. We need an SMTP settings of a mail server which will be used for outbound emails.

Customization

Application name - provide the name for the dialers.

Links - the dialer has several links on its screens, below are exemplary links used in ivippie.com, feel free to make own pages based on them and send us the full URLs to embed in the dialer.

Provide us these links pointing to your pages

Graphics - check the PDF files (links below) with customization overview for different platforms. In the next step you should download the Graphics file. It contains the whole folder structure with all the graphics used when building the dialer. You can change each of the pictures in every folder. What is important is to keep the same size as otherwise it can distort the whole screen.

Note: You do not have to modify all files but even if you change only few of them please send us back the whole folder tree with all files (even those which were not changed). We will put the whole set of files into the resource folder of your dialer project.

Testing

In order to let you test the iOS version we will need UDIDs of your iPhones. Here is an instruction on how to retrieve the UDID from a phone: How to find the UDID

PUSH Provisioning and uploading the dialers to the app stores

We will need access to your Google Play and Appstore developer accounts.
