23.1 Softkeys

Softkeys are the buttons around the LCD display or on the device’s extension module. In some models, they are also displayed on the screen.

Softkeys can be associated with different actions which will be triggered when a button is pressed.

To define softkeys’ actions click on a device in the VoIP devices list and then click on Add softkey. The number of all keys is limited to 30. How many keys can be defined in your device will depend on the device’s model and can be less than this number.

Softkey’s actions include:

• Speed dial

• BLF

• Forward

• Transfer

• Conference

• Call park

Depending on what action is chosen there are different options available in the list in the Details column.
