1.8.7 Billing for inbound calls
Incoming calls to DID numbers are most often free. The exemption is for toll free numbers where a provider usually charges per incoming calls per minute. To enable this option on voipswitch you have to tick the option Charge inbound calls in the client account advanced tab. This will cause that voipswitch will be charging the retail client who received (answered) the call coming to DID. The cost of the call is calculated according to rate defined in the tariff assigned to the retail client who answers the call.
If there is no matching prefix for the incoming call the call will be declined. This is only in the case when the charging for inbound calls is enabled. Otherwise the tariff is not check.
