1.8.1 DIDs management

The DIDs management tools are available in the VSM DIDs menu and provide the following settings:

• Pricing – setup and periodic fees for DIDs. Configurable by country
• DIDs to providers mapping – defines which provider, either local inventory or an external DID provider, should be used. Configurable per country
• Routing – current DID to client associations

The connection credentials for DID provider’s APIs have to be defined in the VSServices Web.Config file.

DID orders are usually placed by clients from the client application i.e. a softphone or VUP. If you want to add a DID manually to a client you can do it from the VSM. Go to the clients menu, click on the chosen client and then click Add DID button to open the wizard which will proceed with the ordering process.
