Provisioning service guide

In order to create or manage existing provisioning templates.

  1. Login to your provisioning service
  2. Click on "Mapprings" -> Add


  3. Create your custom provisioning template:

    Provisioning file parameters:
    Name: description
    Type:
    device: most common template type - all settings in one provisioning file (system + personal).
    * Provisioning file will be removed from the system after first download.
    device group: template type for devices that require separate files for personal and system data, this template should containt system settings 

    Provisioning file parameters (must be enclosed in brances):
    MAC:  mac address provided for device - in most cases used to generate provisioning file name
    account.contact:  DID address selected during provisioning request
    account.username: sip login
    account.password: sip password

    slug: last segment of address to provisioning file.
    File name: provisioning file name, ussualy MAC.cfg, MAC.xml and so on.

  4. Once your provisioning template is saved, go to VUC -> My Profile -> Voip Devices and create provisioning request for your the MAC address of your device
  5.  Provision your device using address based on your template parameters: http://LinkToProvisioningService/get/SlugName/FileName.extension

    After file is downloaded by device, you can find updated provisioning status in VUC

    Device can be provisioned only once, in order to reprovision a device, provisioning request must be reissued with "recycle" button.
