1.11.1 Traffic
The traffic menu divides further on the CDR and charts menus. The subject events are calls and SMS.
CDR
The CDR (Call Details Record) presents the data on the following chargeable events:
- Connected calls
- Failed calls
- Successful SMS
- SMS failed
Note: the CDR does not show instant messages (client to client) even though it shows free, client to client calls. By SMS are understood the text messages sent to external destinations.
The successful calls and SMS data are gathered from the calls table. The table is connected to the call_costs table which stored information related to the costs.
The failed calls and SMS are stored in the callsfailed table.
The successful and failed events are displayed in different views between which you can switch by clicking on appropriate buttons above the CDR table.
All the above events can be filtered by a client type. The filters are located above the event types selection.
Additional filter criteria are available when clicking on the arrow button next to the search.
The columns which should be visible in the table can be configured by clicking the settings icon below the table.
The CDR results are divided on pages with a defined number of rows. All the results can be exported to a csv file by clicking the export button above the table.
Below the table there is a summary which shows the total values of certain parameters for the filtered events. On the right side of the panel are also presented the average values.

Charts
The charts provide a way to analyze the changes of the calls’ related factors over time. The report type can be chosen from the drop down list at the top of the panel. The supported report types include:
- Concurrent calls report
- Calls duration report
- ASR report
Besides the graphical representation the values of the selected parameters are shown in a table below the graph. The data can be exported to a csv file.
The charts can be zoomed in by selecting an area on the line below the X axis.
Grouping
The data can be grouped by destination or by tariff.
When by destination, a drop-down list is shown where you can chose the destination i.e. a route defined in one of the menus from the Routing/Destinations.
When you want to group by tariff two additional lists are shown:
- Country
- Tariff
Concurrent calls
The report operates on the data aggregated every 15 minutes. The interval snapshots contain data on the calls being active through the whole or a part of the interval duration.
The available data includes:
- Total (Max) – max number of active calls during the interval
- Total (Avg) – average of the number of concurrent calls during the interval
- Total (Min) - min number of active calls during the interval
- Internal (Max) – max number of active onnet calls (client to client)
- Internal (Min)
- Internal (Avg)
- External (Max) – max number of active offnet calls (sent to a gateway or other external destination)
- External (Min)
- External (Avg)
- Inbound (Max) – max number of active calls coming from clients to voipswitch
- Inbound (Min)
- Inbound (Avg)
- Outbound (Max) – max number of active calls sent from voipswitch (does not include incoming client calls)
- Outbound (Avg)
- Outbound(Min)
The list of the parameters is shown on the right side of the panel. You can tick those which should be presented on the chart.
The parameters values are calculated for the interval chosen in the Group by drop down list. The supported intervals are:
- Quarter of an hour
- Hour
- Day
- Month
- Year
Another option is a period of time for which the data are presented. To make a chart clearer you should choose bigger intervals for broader time periods, for example to see concurrent calls values over the year you may want to see the daily values instead of hourly or quarter of hour.
When you hover the mouse over a particular point you can see the values of each chart.
The parameters’ values are also shown in a table and can be exported to a csv file.
Calls duration
The report presents the completed calls durations and their changes over time. The available data include:
- Duration (Max) – max duration of a call completed in the interval
- Duration (Min) – min duration of a call completed in the interval
- Duration (Avg) – average duration of the calls completed in the interval
- Duration (Sum) – the sum of the durations of all the calls completed in the interval
The intervals are:
- Quarter of an hour
- Hour
- Day
- Month
- Year
The calls duration data can be grouped by destination, e.g. if you are interested in a report on calls going through a certain route only.
ASR
This report presents the ASR (Answer Seizure Ratio) values and its changes over time. The data include:
- ASR (Max) – the max ASR reached in the interval
- ASR (Min) – the min ASR in the interval
- ASR (Avg) – the average of the ASR values from shorter intervals, not applicable for the shortest interval i.e. 15 minutes
The supported intervals are:
- Quarter of an hour
- Hour
- Day
- Month
- Year
The ASR data can be grouped by destination, e.g. if you are interested in a report on calls going through a certain route only.
