Real-Time Notifications
To ensure that issues are addressed swiftly, our VoIP solution includes a real-time notification feature:
gateway is down
gatekeeper is down
Call restriction limit exceeded
When for example a gateway is marked as down, an email notification is sent to the specified "Important notification email" address. This feature ensures that the right personnel are immediately informed of any issues, allowing for quick resolution.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to setting up and managing these notifications:
Step 1: Configuring the Notification Email
Navigate to the Settings: Access the VSM4 (VoIP System Manager) interface.
Set the Notification Email: Locate the "Important notification email" field and enter the email address where notifications should be sent.
Save Settings: Ensure you save the changes to activate the notification feature.
Step 2: Configuring SIP Options Packet Interval
Access Gateway Settings: In the VSM4 interface, navigate to the gateway settings.
Adjust Interval: Modify the SIP options packet interval according to your needs. The default is set to 60 seconds.
Save Changes: Ensure all settings are saved to apply the new interval.
