1.14.0.1 SMTP configuration

The Configuration panel provides simple SMTP server settings for the Events Manager containing :


  • Server address - the address (domain or IP) of the SMTP server;
  • Port - port required by the SMTP server;
  • Form - sender's email address - available after unchecking Use default "From" for tests;
  • Server requires authorization - if the server requires authorization with a user-name and password this option should be ticked. Afterwards the user name and user password should be provided. The Use SSL is optional here and depends on the SMTP server requirement.

After the SMTP configuration is finished settings should be tested after saving. Pressing the Send test email button triggers a window where the e-mail address to which the test message will be sent should be put.
