1.11.5 Time + Call

Time + Call scenario is an optional feature used to inform customers about maximal possible time of connection for a destination number basing on clients account state and a tariff rate. When calls are processed over this scenario, customers listen to automatic information ie. "You have 1 hour and 23 minutes" while their calls are being initiated.

Setup:

• Technical prefix
  The feature requires one technical prefix created on routing plan, assigned to VoipBox with scenario Time + Call. It's worth to create a prefix consisted of letters instead of numbers in order to prevent possible conflitcs on routing with calls sent to external gateways. It's also easier to identify the purpose of so-defined prefix. In this manual we will use a prefix: t

• Customers dialing rules
  In order to force all calls from a customer to be processed over the scenario, created technical prefix must be included under dialing rules of the client. and removed under tariff rules in order not to match the technical part of a called number with tariff prefixes. Basically,  dialing rules:  t-> OR t and tariff rules t->  will do the job, but it's worth to consider customers habits regarding format of dialed numbers so that numbers defined with different format than E164 will not be rejected due to no match between the dialed number and tariff format. The most common rule in this case should look like:
  Dialing rules: t-> OR +->t OR 00->t OR 0->tCC OR t
  Tariff rules: +-> OR 00-> OR 0->CC OR t->  while CC must be replaced by a default country prefix, when customers define their desired number using local format.

• From now on, before every call, a customer will be informed about how long his call may last

• By default, the scenario provides time including seconds.It is possible to round provided time to minutes, which can be configured on VoipBox settings.
