3.16.1 Recording the welcome greeting

From the softphone a user can tap on the “Record welcome message” button in order to connect to the voicemail’s record greeting scenario. By default the number is 750, as on the previous picture the entry will be onnet750 with the prefix for internal calling.  Calling to this number will make Voipbox start the scenario intended to record welcome message. The welcome message will be then played for ever call reaching voicemail. If a user does not record own greeting the voipbox will use a standard welcome greeting delivered with the platform.

From the VUP users have more options as they can select a different greeting for calls coming from different caller ID.
