3.11.2 Voicemail to email

A user can enable this functionality by filling the email address in the Voicemail menu in the RCS application of through the VUP. The email will be added to the voipswitch.voicemailusers table.

When a new voicemail is left the system sends a request to Voipbox to convert the message from the raw PCM format in which voicemails are stored to mp3 format. When the mp3 is ready it is added to an email as attachment and is sent to the user email address.

The content of the email and other properties are defined in VSM in the System\Event manager\ menu. In the first tab Jobs find the voicemail notification job in the list and click on it to enter the edition mode.
